Diagnostic & Surgical Care

In addition to routine examinations and vaccinations, we offer in-house laboratory services and a state-of-the-art digital radiology department.   We have extensive in-house diagnostic technology at our clinic including digital x-rays, complete blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic tools to determine your pet’s condition.

Our doctors are well-trained, compassionate people who understand that surgery can be a stressful, yet necessary event for both you and your pet.  Surgical procedures such as spaying, neutering and other soft tissue/orthopedic procedures are performed on a regular basis at Koy.  We ensure the comfort and safety of your pet with pain management and a pre-operative physical exam.   You will receive a phone call from our office following the procedure so you can be sure that your pet is resting comfortably.

We generally recommend spaying or neutering your pet at six months of age. Spaying your dog or cat before her first heat cycle reduces the incidence of mammary tumors and uterine infections. Neutering your dog or cat at this age will protect him from developing adverse behaviors and potentially life-threatening disease.
